Thank you!!!

To My Amazing Clients,

Your support means so much to me. As most of you know Fall 2021 was difficult for my family.

For those who don’t know, my husband Cory was admitted to the hospital on September 21st due to end stage liver disease; his kidneys also began to fail after being admitted. During this 7 week rollercoaster; Cory was in and out of ICU, critical care ICU, intermediate care, and 3 different hospitals.

Thursday, October 21st Cory was transferred to Baylor St Luke’s in the Houston Medical Center. After completing the transplant evaluation process he was listed for transplant on October 29th and received his liver transplant on November 4th. Exactly one week after the surgery he was discharged with a remarkable recovery. He is my miracle. I am forever grateful for the amazing doctors and nurses at all three hospitals. Cory is back home and recuperating faster than they expected. He looks amazing and it is so good to have him back. I have never been more grateful to hear him snore!

I appreciate everyone’s support and incredible patience. I know holiday season was a trying time for me to be out of the salon and it made your patience that much more appreciated.

I will be back in the salon on December 1st. As we get used to our new Post-op schedule I will be working 3 days a week at first; if this goes well I will be adding a 4th work day. With the help of my assistant/protégé Nathan, we will be able to be very efficient with our schedule.

In 2022 I will be working 4 days a week; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Due to Cory’s anti-rejection medications his immune system is very suppressed. I ask for extra diligence in hygiene and mask wearing in the salon. Even the common cold would be a verry difficult experience for Cory. PLEASE reschedule if you are experiencing any symptoms.

I am currently reaching out to clients with appointments already on the December schedule to rearrange as needed. Then I will be reaching out to clients to add them to the schedule in the order of their original appointment. If I do not get in touch with you by Monday, November 29th please reach out to me by text, email or DM.

People have asked me how they can support us through this- Book an appointment! If we can’t do December, I can help you get with a peer and hopefully I can see you in January when I will be working more. Post a selfie and tag me on social media! Sharing is caring. Another great way to support us is by buying retail. I offer shipping and curbside pickup through my website

We have so much to be grateful for. Hug your loved ones a little longer this week, remind them how much they mean to you. Create memories.

Carpe Diem,

Gabe
