CONSULTATION
I include consultations with every visit. It is important to get to know you and your vision for your hair. Then we come up with a realistic roadmap to achieve your hair goals. Sometimes change has to be gradual in order to keep the integrity of your hair.
I now also offer virtual consultations and virtual styling classes.

2010 was a monumental year in my life. I was about to turn 30 and decided it was time to chase my dreams. I moved from rural Missouri, to Houston, Texas to have a fresh start on life. That fresh start included leaving the corporate world of telecommunications and starting fresh in cosmetology. Hair had always interested me; I've always helped girls get ready for college formals, gala’s or even big date nights. I always thought it was so special to help someone feel beautiful.
In 2010 I started at Paul Mitchell the School Houston; after graduating I completed a 9 month apprenticeship under Justin Dall, owner of J Dall Hair Salon in Houston, Tx. I have had the honor of completing the Goldwell Master Colorist Program, the ABC’s of cutting at the Sasson Academy, The Sharon Blaine Bootcamp of styling, as well as numerous Oribe Journey to Mastery Courses. I have an absolute passion for education; it keeps me inspired and fresh. I travel across the country yearly to keep current and inspired. I was a Houston Oribe ambassador for 3 years; I helped with local Oribe education and gave me the opportunityt travel to NYC at least once annually as part of the program. I was also on the Oribe NYFW team in February of 2020. Currently education has gone virtual and loving the opportunities to take classes from international stylists all over the world!
You need more than a good resume for your next hairstylist. I go above and beyond to make sure each client looks and feels their best. Using inspiration I find all around me, I work to interpret the trends to make them relevant to each person’s individual style. I do this by building a relationship and getting to know my clients; this helps us find a style that fits their life.
Healthy hair is sexy hair; the integrity of your hair is of major importance to me. I do everything possible to encourage healthy hair during your visits at the salon and by encouraging the proper at home maintenance routine. This isn’t about selling retail, this is about maintaining your investment and allowing you the benefit of having sexy hair every day! It doesn’t matter how pretty I can make your hair if you can’t make it look good when I'm not there!
The best part of my day is seeing a client’s face light up when they see their new look. I've done my job when I've made you feel special. My goal is to help you see your beauty, it’s there! I promise!
I am excited to now offer a private, luxury boutique experience. I am working very hard to go above and beyond to keep my clients healthy and safe during these strange times. Please know that there are new guidelines to help keep everyone safe.
